PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Omega 3, 6 and 9 are unsaturated fatty acids and they are as important for cats and dogs as they are for humans. Omega-3 Acids are Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA), Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA); Omega-6: Linoleic Acid (LA); Omega-9: Oleic Acid (OA). Omega-3 and Omega-6 cannot be produced by their bodies so they need to be provided with food they eat. The problem is that pet food, especially the kind that is sold in supermarkets, often does not contain enough of the Omega acids.
By giving your little (or not so little) furry (or not too furry) friend Omega 3, 6 & 9 supplements you ensure that he/she is provided with a proper level of important fatty acids. The Omega fatty acids may promote the skin and coat of your pet as well as their wellbeing.
Our Pet Omega softgel capsules contain a mix of fish and vegetable oils. They also contain Vitamin E as an antioxidant - it protects the oil in the softgels from going rancid, and also protects the cells in your pet's body once swallowed.
