Our Pet Hip & Joint Powder is an advanced pet supplement that contains specially selected human-grade ingredients to support and promote healthy joints, hips and connective tissue of your little furry friend. The active ingredients and (some of) their roles are as follows:
- Glucosamine: a natural component of cartilage - the tissue covering the surface of joints that allows bones to slide over one another;
- Chondroitin: provides the building blocks for the body to produce new cartilage, it also absorbs water into the connective tissue;
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): reduces inflammation and relieves joint pain;
- Green-Lipped Mussel: a rich source of anti-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acids - and as such, it also helps maintain healthy skin and fur;
- Curcumin: may reduce pain in osteoarthritis;
- Hyaluronic Acid: A slippery substance that lubricates joints and connective tissue thus helping joints to move smoothly;
- Manganese: involved in formation of connective tissue and bones;
- Vitamin C: helps maintain healthy skin, bones and cartilage.
There is a number of dog breeds that are susceptible to arthritis and other joint problems, some of them, like Labradors, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Spaniels, Dachshunds are quite popular pets. Such animals could benefit greatly from being given joint supplements, and from younger age, as sometimes a dog (and a cat too) can show first symptoms of arthritis at the age of 1 year. The food we give our little friends often has insufficient amount of nutrients that could promote joint health, not to mention the natural wear and tear of joints as they grow older - just as it is with us, humans.
Our Pet Hip & Joint powder is a well formulated and balanced food supplement to support your pet's healthy joints and bones, also contributing to their immune system (Vitamin C) as well as for a healthy skin and fur (Omega 3). The product has chicken flavour for your pet to devour.
The product comes with a measuring scoop inside. 1 scoop is 2g of powder so the pack provides supply for up to 5 months.
