PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Glucosamine is an amino sugar that is naturally produced in our bodies. However, its production decreases with age. Along with Chondroitin, Glucosamine is a natural component found in cartilage - the tissue covering the surface of our joints that acts as a 'shock absorber' and allows bones to slide over one another. You could try using the supplement to ease joint pain e.g. associated with osteoarthritis. Also it is worth trying after intense physical activity, e.g. training in a gym.
Some studies have found that taking Glucosamine supplements may have positive effects in humans but that has not been proven and officially accepted as a remedy for osteoarthritis. From all the documentation there is one can conclude that in some cases it has helped to reduce pain and, as it has no severe side effects except when taking certain types of medication, it is relatively safe to use (please read the 'Cautions/Warnings' below).
Our Glucosamine & Chondroitin Complex tablets are made in the UK to the highest standards. Vitamin C has been added to complement the main ingredients as it is proven to contribute to the normal function of cartilage and bones as well as providing support to the immune system and reducing tiredness and fatigue.
