Vitamin D is a fat-soluble type of vitamin and its most useful property is the ability to help absorb and regulate the levels of calcium and phosphorus in our bodies - the elements important to keep our bones, muscles, teeth and gums healthy. Vitamin D also plays important role in the maintenance of our immune system. There are 2 types of Vitamin D: D2 and D3 of which D3 is thought to be more effective.
Vitamin K is a group of fat-soluble vitamins that we can divide onto 2 main types: K1 (Phylloquinone) and K2 (Menaquinone). There are several sub-types of the K2, of which MK-7 is absorbed most efficiently in the body and also has higher bioavailability than the other types as it stays and works in the body much longer. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of bones, as it binds calcium in bones and other tissues.
This product is an expertly formulated and perfectly balanced mix of Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 Menaquinone MK-7. One pack provides supply for up to 3 months of the supplement thus complementing and supporting a normal, healthy diet and lifestyle.
